Removes hair from root
Last 4-6 weeks
Description
When we shave, the hair is cut off at the surface of the skin. That is why you usually can feel stubbles that same day or the next day! You still have approximately 1/4" of hair still inside your skin near the root. Waxing (when done properly) pulls the hair out from the roots. It may take up to three waxing treatments to achieve smooth skin due to the fact that hair grows in stages and all of your hair is never at the same stage. It is very important to avoid shaving between waxing appointments, as this will interrupt the process and stimulate hair growth again.
If you wax only, you will want to evenly space out your appointments every 4-6 weeks (AGAIN: NO SHAVING/TWEEZING IN BETWEEN sessions!). Waxing damages the hair follicle so a new, smoother hair grows back in.
